CCRT Scholarship 2016

Centre for Cultural Resources and Training had released a notification to invite application forms from the eligible candidates who want to compete for the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship.

This scholarship provided to the skilled and eligible candidate’s of the age group of 10 to 14 years. Candidates who are interested to apply in this scholarship can apply till the 31st December 2015.

CCRT Scholarship 2016 - 17 Reward:

• There will be total 620 scholarships will be awarded at national level.
• Out of 620, 100 scholarships are reserved for Tribal Culture.
• 30 scholarships will be reserved for children in the field of Creative Writing/ Literary Arts.
• 20 scholarships will be reserved for differently able candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Participants who have below modified norms may apply for CCRT Scholarship:
• Studying either in recognized schools or Belong to families practicing traditional, performing and other arts are selected for the scholarships.
• Must have minimum of 3 years of experience (either with a Guru or in a institution) and certain level of proficiency in the relevant art form.

Age limitation:

Candidates have to above of the ages of 10 years and below of the ages pf 14 years for this scholarship.

The shortlisted candidates will get informed post only about the dates, timings and venue of the interview/test which may be conducted at regional level during the May- July 2016.

Selection process:

Candidates will get selected through Interview / exam which will be held by the CCRT.

Scholarship Amount:

• Selected candidates will get scholarship Amount of Rs. 3, 600/- annually per month for those children who undergo their particular training at the station where they are pursuing their academic studies and Rs. 400 per month would be given in case it is a different town/ city.
• Actual fee paid for the particular training to the Institution or to the guru/teacher shall be refund to the scholarship holder in addition to the amount of scholarship specified under (i) above, subject to a ceiling of Rs.9000/- per year

The application form will be available at the official website which is www.ccrtindia.gov.in.

Then candidates have to fill their forms in given manner and submit it to the given particular address before the given last date of submitting application form.
