Tata Institute of Fundamental Research has released a notification for the TIFR GS 2016. Through his examination candidates will get selected for the various programs such Ph.D., Integrated M.Sc, Ph.D.

as well as M.Sc. degree in certain subjects. The name of this exam is Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Graduate School Admissions (GS-2016). Application forms are invited from the eligible candidates who to take admission in such courses. Candidates now have to submit their online forms to appear in the exam.

Physics	M.Sc./M.S. in Physics, or equivalent	M.E./M.Tech./B.Sc./B.S./B.E./ B.Tech./B.Chem. in Physics, Engineering Physics, or equivalent degree,
Chemistry	M.Sc./M.Pharm.	B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharm.
Biology	Masters in Basic Science or Bachelors in Applied Science.  These include, M.Sc.(Ag.), B.Tech., B.E., B.V.Sc., B.Pharma. (4 years course), MBBS, BDS, M.Pharma.	Bachelors in any Basic Science
Computer & System Sciences (including Communications and Applied Probability)	B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./M.C.A./M.Sc. degree holders in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communications Engineering / Electrical Engineering.  Exceptionally well qualified students with B.E./B.Tech./M.E./ M.Tech./M.Sc./B.Sc. or equivalent degrees	-

Application Fee:

Male Candidates have to pay application fee of Rs 500/-

Female Candidates application fee of Rs 100/-

Selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in test and interview.
